Purchasing shoes made easy. Browse our on-line store, click on any items that you wish to buy to put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to fulfil your order.

Credit/Debit Card Payment

Your credit/debit card will be charged at the time of placing your order. We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Access, Mastercard, Switch, Maestro, Solo, American Express and Connect. Safe card transactions are processed with Opayo (Formerly Sagepay)

We accept credit/debit card payments in British Pounds (GBP (£)), Euros (EUR(€)), and Australian Dollars (AUD ($)). 

Always use the registered card address when ordering, if the card does not match the address we will may not proceed with the order.

All transactions are 3rd party fraud checked. Any payment not cleared by the fraud check will not be processed.

We do not accept over the phone payments.

PayPal

Check Out faster with PayPal. Your account will be charged at the time of placing the order. PayPal offer added 3rd party protection and pay without having to re-enter your financial details. You can also pay securely through credit or debit card without signing in/up for a PayPal account. 

PayPal E-cheque* If a payment has been sent by PayPal E-cheque we are unable to process your order until the payment has cleared, this can be up to 14 days. Please contact PayPal for further details.

Pricing

Products are shown on the website in British Pounds (GBP (£)), Euros (EUR(€)), US Dollars (USD($)), Australian Dollars (AUD ($)) and United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED($)). You may checkout out in your local currency if available. Although we try to ensure that all our products' prices are accurate, errors may sometimes occur. If we discover an error in the price of a product we are under no obligation to accept or fulfil this order. We reserve the right to cancel such an order until it is in transit to the delivery address. 

All orders delivered to the UK (exclusions apply) are subject VAT. The total price of the order is not confirmed until the final page of the checkout process. When using a VPN, shopping from overseas or we cannot recognise your IP location, the website may show the pricing excluding VAT. In these cases VAT will be added at the checkout based on your delivery location. We reserve the right to cancel an order if the VAT has not been paid at the point of sale.

Pricing EU -Delivered Duty Paid (DDP)

Selected EU countries are now shipped Delivered Duty Paid under the IOSS scheme. The IOSS scheme allows a smooth journey from checkout to delivery for orders under the 150 Euro (inclusive of delivery) threshold. At the time of checkout you will be charged your local VAT rate. You will be required to create an account or login for DDP pricing. 

Applicable countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

We reserve the right to cancel an order if the VAT has not been paid at the point of sale, alternatively we may contact you to arrange delivery through the DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) scheme. 

Although with all care and due diligence we cannot 100% guarantee there will not be any additional charges levied by your local government/customs office. 

Order Value - The IOSS scheme covers orders up to the value of 150 Euro, therefore the following countries have a maximum order value of 150 Euro (including shipping):

Order Value - France and Republic of Ireland 

Orders to France and Republic of Ireland do not have a maximum order value. You will be charged your local VAT rate at the point of checkout, in order to view DDP pricing, please create an account or login.

International/Rest of World/Non-EU/Countries not covered by EU- DDP (above) are not delivered DDP. The website will display prices excluding- VAT based on your IP address and/or account information. The total price of the order is not confirmed until the final page of the checkout process. Your delivery address will verify the final price. The customer is responsible for any additional VAT and duty charges at the point of import, see overseas delivery for more information.

Black Friday Promotion

The Black Friday promotion will run from 22:00 21st November 2021 to 23:59 29th 2021 (times are only an estimate and are subject to change) 

Promo details - "20% off everything* " this excludes Accessories, School Shoes, Sale (Items that were already on sale prior to the 21/11/2021 and items already at a discounted rate higher than 20%) which also includes Loake Seconds. RM William, Le Chameau and Dubarry footwear are not included in the promo.

*"UP TO" Please note prices have been rounded/up down to the nearest full integer, therefore the website may show an actual lower percentage value for example 18%, 19% due to the nature of the rounding.

We will not price match competitors. We will under no circumstances refund the difference if an order has already been placed prior to the Black Friday Promotion go live.

Stock

The stock shown on the website is a reflection of the stock available globally at North Shoes and it is not at a specific location. We can help locate an item, if you would prefer to shop instore, please contact us on sales@northshoes.co.uk. All orders are fulfilled using stock that is available to instore customers as well. All stock is inspected and unpacked before it is added to inventory. 

Sadly, there can be discrepancies in stock levels, especially during busier periods. These errors will not be apparent until orders are physically picked. Stock discrepancies are something we strive very hard to avoid, although it is difficult to prevent such errors entirely. We will contact you directly if this has effected your order. 

Cancellation

We can happily cancel your order up until the time of dispatch, however there may be still be time to cancel the order before the order is collected by the courier, so please get in touch straight away on sales@northshoes.co.uk. Once your order is in transit, we are unable to cancel or recall your order. Please note you may still be charged for the order, if the payment has already been processed by the bank. Unfortunately, this is out of our control. 

We are unable to cancel orders that have been made to specific requirements. 

Delivery

Please note if you have any accessibility issues with any of our retail stores, we offer a free delivery service online.

At the time of checkout, please make sure the address and contact details are correct. We reserve the right to contact you for confirmation of your delivery address. Providing incorrect details may delay your shipment, we are not responsible for this delay. Our delivery partners will do their best to deliver the order within the delivery estimates, however these are only estimates and not guarantees. North Shoes and/or the courier will make every effort to contact you about unexpected delays. Our delivery partners have their own set of terms and conditions and can be found on their direct websites. You will receive confirmation at the time of shipping who your courier is.

Once an order has been shipped we are unable to make any changes

Depending on stock availability, we may split delivery of your order and deliver them separately.  You will not be charged extra for this.

Delivery- International

When placing an international order, the recipient is responsible for all customs formalities for the import of the products and will be require to pay any additional charges. Unfortunately, we do have any control over these charges and cannot predict what they will be. We strongly advise you check before placing an order. Orders are DDU-Delivered Duty Unpaid unless outlined in EU-DDP. The forwarding courier will contact you to pay the customs clearance charge, before the order is delivered. If you do not hear from the courier please let us know. Unfortunately we cannot pay these charges on behalf of you, the customer. Please check that your contact details are up to date and that your area code is included with your phone number. Customs will only hold you order for a specific period (dependant on country and space) and in the event the order is "returned to sender" due to duties/customs not being settled, we may still charge you for the shipping and import fee of £5. Orders for Switzerland the administration/brokerage fee is covered by the shipping price, however you may still be subject to import taxes.

Delivery- Missing /Lost

From time to time, there may be complications with the delivery and we apologise for the inconvenience. Any claims for lost goods must completed within 7 days of estimated delivery date. Please contact us on sales@northshoes.co.uk.  After reporting, we will open an investigation into the delivery, please note that it may take between 3-14 working days for the investigation to be completed. During this time, we may not be able to provide a replacement or refund. 

Delivery- No information (after 48 hours) / consolidation scan/ Off-loaded

From time to time, there may be complications with the delivery and we apologise for the inconvenience. If the tracking is showing no information (after 48 hours), consolidation scan, off loaded or any other delivery queries, please contact us straight away on sales@northshoes.co.uk. Any claims for lost goods with no information, consolidation scan, off-loaded must completed within 14 days of dispatch date. After reporting, we will open an investigation into the delivery, please note that it may take between 3-14 working days for the investigation to be completed. During this time, we may not be able to provide a replacement or refund.

Delivery- Parcel Shops/ Pickup Shops

Occasionally, DPD may reroute your parcel to a Parcel Shop /Pick up Shop, this is out of our control. Please let us know if we can be any assistance at sales@northshoes.co.uk.

DPD customers also have the option to reroute their Parcel to a Parcel Shop /Pick up Shop while it is in transit through the MYDPD App or online. If you have chosen to reroute your parcel, it is your responsibility to collect your parcel within the timeframe outlined by DPD. We are not responsible for your order if it is not collected within the timeframe, as the order was delivered to an alternative delivery location than initially provided and will be classified as delivered. In most cases, the order will be returned to sender, upon receipt we will process a refund.

Returns – Main policy

If you are not completely satisfied with you purchase, you can return it within 30 days of purchase in its original unworn condition and with its original box. The customer is responsible for the cost of returns. We recommend that you obtain proof of delivery for your return as we are not liable for goods lost in transit.

Please include your order number with the parcel to allow us to process your refund. We will reimburse by the method used for the original transaction within 14 days.

Returns- Non-refundable/ non-returnable

Unfortunately, some items are non-refundable and/or non-returnable 

Anything that's made to a specific requirement i.e. belt size, is therefore personalised and cannot be resold

Returns – Faulty/Wrong Item Delivered/Received damaged

We are sorry there has been an issue with your order, before you send the order back please get in touch as soon as possible. Please note we are unable to reimburse postage on top of your original payment. Once an investigation is completed, we may be able to offer an exchange, refund, or repair. If you have been issued a return label and a return has been agreed, please discontinue the use of the product and return the item within 14 days of receipt of the label. Continuing to use the product after the agreed return may invalidate the faulty return request. 

This does not affect your statutory rights.  

Returns- International

You, as the customer, are responsible for any customs and import charges, which may incur during the export/import of the return. Please make sure you use the relevant customs forms for your country.

Returns- Non original condition - Restocking Administration Fee

Damaged Product Box- We ask that you do not tape documents to the box or seal the shoe box with tape. Sticky tape damages the boxes and we are unable to resell the item in this condition. Suppliers are unable to supply replacement boxes. We reserve the right to charge a restocking administration fee of up £10 to cover the cost of the damage. We will let you know before actioning this.

We completely understand that boxes can be damaged in transit and this is out your control. 

Missing Original Box- We ask that you send the order back in its original box. Suppliers are unable to supply replacement boxes. We reserve the right to charge a restocking administration fee of up £10 to cover the cost of the damage. We will let you know before actioning this.

Returns- Exchanges

We may not be able to offer exchanges at the time of return, and we recommend reordering the product. The stock moves very quickly and we wouldn’t want you to miss out. 

Returns- Covid-19

To prevent the spread of Covid-19, returns are subject to a stay in quarantine before they are unpacked and handled by the team. As a result of Covid-19 we are keeping exchanges to a minimum and recommend reordering the size/colour you require. Before an item is released for general sale it is sprayed with disinfectant. We encourage customers to try the shoes on with socks/tights. 

Warranties/ Guarantees

There are no warranties or guarantees on footwear or accessories, unless stated by the brand its self, this will be indicated. Items that have a warranty/guarantee you will need to keep hold of your order confirmation as proof of purchase, without this we may not be able to process a claim on behalf of you. 

Discount Codes

We reserve the right to cancel or shorten the duration of discount codes. All discount codes are subject to availability and in many cases they can only be used once per account. Unfortunately, if you do not enter the discount code at the checkout screen we are unable to refund the difference after the checkout has been completed. The discount codes have no cash value. 

Birthday discount code £50 minimum spend. Excludes: Sale, Shoe care, Purses/Wallets, Hosiery.

Welcome signup discount code is only valid online and excludes sale/clearance. 

Any discount code issued by a member of North Shoes will be subject to the same terms and conditions as above. We will let you know if there any additional T&Cs at the time of issue.  

All discount codes are only valid online and not instore. 

Pre-order Policy

All items pre-ordered will be delivered where possible to the time scales indicated, however we are reliant on manufacturers delivery dates. Your credit/debit card will be charged at the time of ordering. The normal returns policy will apply. Any order which cannot be fulfilled within the allotted timescales will, of course be eligible for a full refund.
